Bahamas
The Bahamian chain comprises some 700 islands and cays spread over 100,000 square miles of Atlantic Ocean in a gentle east-to-west curve just 50 miles south of Florida. The shallow waters are home to more than 30 diving sites, unspoiled reefs, shallow fishing waters, a plethora of wrecks, the spectacular Blue Holes (entrances to an underwater world, and fantastic caves).
From the cosmopolitan capital Nassau and glamorous vibrant Paradise Island to the peace and solitude of the Exumas and the Abacos, they provide the perfect combination of lively fun and laid-back charm.
- Anchor at Tongue of the Ocean on the Bahamas Bank for an angling adventure
- Cast your line for blue marlin in the hot fishing spot east of Abaco
- Give yourself a diving thrill along the sheer, straight drop-offs of the Walls of San Salvador
- Take a wild ride through The Current Cut at Eleuthrea, a narrow opening with currents of up to 8 knots
- Lose yourself in the world’s longest underwater caves in the Lucayan National Park
- Slick on the sun cream, don your shades and stretch out on Treasure Cay on Great Abaco
- Indulge in a therapeutic massage on deck surrounded by the tranquil waters of the Exumas
