Leeward Islands

Spanning some 120 miles from Anguilla to Dominica, the Leeward Islands are made up of several islands operating as different nations. Both ashore and on the water, the diverse history and varied nationalities, cultures and cuisines make this island chain a microcosm of the world. Ideal for island hopping from tiny deserted cays to fashionable harbours, the Leeward’s provide the ultimate soporific island lifestyle.

All the essentials are here in abundance – from the sophisticated French island of St Barth’s to the old world charm of Antigua, the islands offer an exotic concoction of modern chic and laid-back Caribbean charm.

  • Dive the seabed museum, six marine parks and nine dive wrecks in the waters surrounding Anguilla
  • Jump in to the coral grottoes at Sandy Point Reef, St Kitts
  • Swim with leatherback, hawksbill and green turtles in Maunday’s Bay, Anguilla
  • Dive the underwater volcanic fissures and canyons surrounding St Eustatius
  • Jump in and dive Antigua’s Pillars of Hercules, a group of coral columns resembling an ancient Greek temple
  • Stretch out languorously in the sun on the decks of your yacht
  • Windsurf around Barnes Bay, Anguilla
