Alison Blackburn

Retail Charter Assistant

Alison was born in London and started her professional life as a stage performer. At the age of 18, she ran away to the circus and, following a year and a half long tour all over South America, returned to London to continue enjoying a successful stage career. Then, life at sea beckoned and after joining P&O cruises as dancer/singer/actress, she progressed to Entertainment Officer, then finally to Cruise Director. The experience of 16 years at sea, including circumnavigating the world more than a dozen times, gave Alison a seamless transit shore-side. After working in the Southampton based P&O cruises office, she after moving to France with CNI, where her maritime knowledge is put to good use. Alison has worked as the Charter Assistant for three years now.
