Fleet Manager

After spending most of his childhood holidays sailing the choppy North Sea, Guy decided to get some formal training and enrolled at the Antwerp Maritime Academy in Belgium. At age 18 he started sailing as cadet on a variety of ocean-going ships. In 1997, Guy graduated and reached his first officer's position on reefer-ships, carrying the famous Bonita & Chiquita bananas from Ecuador to the rest of the world. After multiple visits to Miami, he ended up working as Chief Officer onboard RCCL (Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s) large passenger ship called “Legend of The Seas”. This ended up being a six year world cruise, giving him the ”once in a lifetime” chance to sail all oceans and visit all continents. Then asked to join their Miami based dry-dock team, Guy ended up as Marine Superintendent ashore, managing refits for over 20 large cruise ships and providing support and feedback to the fleet. Guy came to the South of France in 2008, working in Yacht Management which led into a job as Yacht Manager with CNI. Guy currently holds an unlimited STCW Master Mariner license and is a certified ISM, ISPS & ISO lead auditor. During his holidays you will find him sailing with family and friends.
