David Reams

Manager, Yacht Management Division (USA) & US Operations

A California native, David spent his youth racing sailboats. After managing the clinical engineering department of the local hospital for 10 years, he returned to the yachting field. In 1990 he opened a very successful commercial and private marine consultancy and services company. David moved to Florida in 2006 and was immediately offered a position with CNI. He holds a 3000 ton license for both US and MCA and is certified for internal ISM audits. A captain of several super yachts, his experience includes refit management, marine educational studies, day to day operations of a luxury yacht and extensive cruising knowledge. David has also authored several articles for a number of yacht publications and is a longtime member of the San Diego Yacht Club.
