David was introduced to the world of yachting in 1995 whilst working as an interpreter in Italy for the world famous Ferretti Yachts shipyard. He quickly started to earn more responsibility within the company, which included developing a new ‘Owners Manual’ for each yacht and liaising with the first US representatives of the shipyard. When Ferretti purchased the CRN shipyard David was invited to become part of the new management team, and within a short time, he was assigned the role of Sales Manager for the Custom Line range of yachts in North America and the UK. When the structure of the Ferretti Group changed in 2006, David deflected from more responsibility within the Group but rather took up an opportunity to be involved in the exciting world of brokerage. For the next four years David assisted in developing the growth of a small UK based brokerage, but after selling some significant vessels to demanding clientele he felt that he needed the support of a world class brokerage firm. In November of 2010 David became part of the CNI team, where he calls upon his deep knowledge and understanding of the yachting world to offer his clients his superior knowledge and expertise.
