Arne Ploch

Yacht Broker

Born in Germany, Arne grew up in the mountain resort of Garmisch, Partenkirchen, and moved at the age of 16 to Palma de Mallorca to live on the family owned sailing yacht. Arne studied at the Madrid University and the Oestrich-Winkel in Germany, then continued his studies in London where he graduated in European Business Administration at EBS (European Business School). During most of Arne’s student life he worked as a Captain on charter yachts, mainly in the Balearics. During and following his studies he worked for a major German car manufacturer in market research, and in corporate finance with a Japanese investment bank, before coming back into yachting as a trainee broker with CNI in Palma de Mallorca, some 17 years ago. During his time at CNI, Arne has been involved in many sales and purchases, as well as a number of new build projects.
