Marlene Jimenez

Yacht Broker

Marlene was born and raised in Germany to Spanish parents. After Secondary School Marlene spent two years in London improving her English at college before returning to Germany to take up Business Management studies. Marlene's career started in the Medical Industry, followed by a stint working for a Trust Company. She decided she needed a change and moved to Palma de Mallorca in 2000. Marlene started in the yachting industry in January 2000 where she took on a position of sales assistant to one of the senior brokers at Dahm International (which later became known as Sea Independence). In May 2005 she moved on to Koch Newton & Partners (which later became part of Merrill Stevens Yachts) where she carried on as sales assistant to the same senior broker. In March 2007 she entered on a job as Brokerage Coordinator / Junior Broker at CNI's Palma office. After the birth of her son in 2008 she returned to the CNI Palma office where she carries on as Brokerage Coordinator/ Junior Broker and assisting Jonathan Syrett in all of his sales.
