During July and August the population on Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard and in Newport increases four-fold, but equally special times to visit are April, when you will witness the Daffodil Festival on Nantucket, or October for the Nantucket Harvest Weekend. Should you be in Martha’s Vineyard during the summer, then head to Grace Church in Vineyard Haven for fresh lobster rolls and sit with the locals by the docks and enjoy your picnic overlooking the harbour.
