Cannes Yachting Festival 2024

The 2024 dates for the Cannes Yachting Festival have been announced as September 10 to September 15.

The Cannes Yachting Festival stretches across two iconic locations, Vieux Port and Port Canto, with an incredible in-water display of nearly 700 boats alongside stands and exhibitions from the greatest names in luxury yachting.

The Vieux Port becomes home to the majority of the in-show fleet, with new launches on display from famous superyacht names like Benetti, Sanlorenzo, and Riva. Yachts on display in water here range in size from 10 to 45 metres, with larger vessels often spotted at anchor.

In Port Canto is where you’ll find the brokerage boats, sailing yachts, and water toys. With major renovation works being undertaken at Vieux Port this year, the display in Port Canto will be expanding with a new section that’s dedicated to motor boats up to 12 metres in length.

Cannes Boat Show

At the 2024 Cannes Boat Show you’ll be able to peruse sailing and motor yachts, multihulls, yacht tenders and toys.

In the Palais des Festivals, the latest innovations in technology can be discovered as well as items from interior suppliers and service companies.

The new section for motor boats up to 12m in Port Canto will no doubt be a huge draw for those seeking sports boats, weekend cruisers, or superyacht tenders and chase boats. Another bonus of the new location for these smaller motor yachts, is that they’ll be able to take guests out on sea trial, without being restricted by bridge-opening times as experienced in Vieux Port.

Cannes Yacht Exhibition

If you’re interested in viewing boats at the Cannes yacht exhibition then the yacht sales and charter brokers from Camper & Nicholsons are perfectly placed to assist you. Appointments to view boats in show often need to be made in advance, and if you advise the team of your interests then a selection of boat tours can be organised for you.

In the brokerage part of the show, which is held in Port Canto, there are over 45 yachts on display. The sailing area of the Cannes yacht exhibition is also found in Port Canto, and includes sailing superyachts, monohulls, multihulls and catamarans, and smaller new-build sailing yachts.

Cannes Yacht Brokerage

Camper & Nicholsons will present its Cannes yacht brokerage showcase in Port Canto. It’s an ideal setting for the company’s display, whose historic Cannes office is located in the walls of the old port.

Port Canto’s expanded offering for the 2024 edition of the Cannes yacht show brings the two show locations onto equal footing – make your dedicate at least one day to seeing yachts in each port!

Both ports open at 10:00 daily, and the yachting festival remains open to 19:00 each day, with extended opening hours on the Friday.

Superyachts in Cannes

The Côte d’Azur is one of the world’s most famous and glamourous yachting destinations. Superyachts in Cannes are a common sight, whether visiting on summer charters, in town for events like the Cannes Film Festival, or on display during the Cannes Boat Show.

The Cannes Yachting Festival occupies both of the town’s ports, adjoined by Cannes’ famous Croisette promenade. Visitors to the boat show needn’t walk between the ports, however, as a fleet of water taxis and shuttles are on standby to unite the two show locations.

Yachting Industry Expo

The Cannes Yachting Festival is also something of a tradeshow and yachting industry expo. Among the 55,000 boat show visitors are many yachting professionals from across the superyacht sector and leisure marine industry.

The Cannes yachting expo has a total 5km of pontoon, and every berth taken up by new yachts, yachts for sale, and for charter.

The show’s location on the French Riviera, within easy reach of Nice airport and train connections to St Tropez, Monaco and Antibes, makes the Cannes Yachting Festival a favourite of the yachting industry and yacht buyers alike.
