Cinema Against AIDS 2013
23rd May 2013
This year’s 20th annual Cinema Against AIDS benefit will be one of the most coveted events at the Cannes Film Festival, hosting a glittering guest list of Hollywood stars and familiar faces from the enchanting worlds of fashion, music and business.
Co-founded in 1993 by Dame Elizabeth Taylor, the prestigious event is held each year at the world-renowned Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc to honour individuals who have made contributions to continuing fight against AIDS. It has built a reputation over the last two decades as one of the most consistent fund raising benefits in the world with unrivalled success in generating funds for amfAR's lifesaving AIDS research programs, raising $80 million so far. Kicking off with a glittering cocktail reception, followed by dinner, impressive auction and a breath-taking fashion show, ending with a glamorous after party, this year's event promises to be bigger than ever in celebration of its 20th anniversary.
