Cannes Film Festival (11 – 22 May)
The most prestigious film festival in the world, the Festival de Cannes is a celebration of cinematographic art, showcasing new writing, genres and visual innovations. With almost 32,500 professionals in attendance last year, this May is predicted to be the biggest festival to date.
Open de Nice Côte d’Azur (15 – 21 May)
The 2016 ATP World Tour is the global elite professional tennis circuit. Comprising the Grand Slams, the ATP World Tour Masters 1000, the ATP World Tour 500 series, the ATP World Tour 250 series and the ATP World Tour Finals, the tournament comes to Nice in the middle of May. Playing on clay, the world’s best players will battle it out in the ATP World Tour 250 series.
Monaco Grand Prix Historique (13 – 15 May)
Established in 1997, the Historic Grand Prix is organised every two years by the Automobile Club of Monaco (ACM). Taking place two weeks before the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the event attracts motor enthusiasts, collectors, aficionados and of course, plenty of vintage cars.
Monaco Grand Prix (26 – 29 May)
The famous Monaco Grand Prix, taking place in the heart of the Principality, is the slowest and most difficult of all circuits in the Formula 1 World Championship. With a total of 78 laps, a circuit length of 3.34km and a total distance of 260.52km, the race has been an unforgettable sporting event since 1929.
Enjoy the best possible views of the most famous car race on board a superyacht anchored right in the heart of the event.
