Sharks Exhibition at Oceanographic Museum
8th Jun 2013
On the 8th June, the magnificent Oceanographic Museum in Monaco will launch a new ‘Sharks’ exhibition, which will enable guests to get up close and personal with the ocean’s deadliest predator.
The exhibition is themed ‘From Myth to Reality, Beyond Misunderstanding’ and presents the truth about sharks and their important role in the food chain. In addition to a ‘stroking pool’, an interactive 20m digital fresco will display the different shark species along with entertainment for children and guided visits throughout. Built on the side of the mythical Rock of Monaco, the Oceanographic Museum has been watching over the oceans for over a century. Founded by the Prince Albert I, great grandfather of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, it was designed as a Palace entirely dedicated to Art and Science.
