This new construction project brings a significant piece of maritime history back to life in the modern age. The 43m sailing yacht will offer her new owner every luxury needed to travel the world in complete comfort.

The original Columbia, launched in 1923, was bred for speed and was a real racing sailboat. Staying true to her heritage and designed from the original hand drawn plans, the new Columbia II has been custom-designed for speed and comfort.

Boasting a steel hull instead of wood, an engine room with a single 587hp C18 Caterpillar engine, and over 930 square metres of sail, she cruises gracefully up to 17 knots with a range of 4000 nautical miles.

Columbia II’s interior will be furnished with mahogany custom cabinetry, cedar lined wardrobes and tiger maple inlays on the tables. Her open plan main saloon/dining room will feature ample windows allowing the natural light to stream in.

With four en suite staterooms equipped with Pullman berths, she will be able to accommodate up to 12 guests. Columbia II also comes with the modifications of a luxury superyacht, including state-of-the-art electronics, air conditioning and underwater lighting.

Columbia II now presents a fantastic opportunity to own a piece of American-built history that has been brought into the modern age of yachting.
