Doña Francisca is truly remarkable, and must be inspected to be fully appreciated. Her build quality, design integrity and performance will surely make a new owner very happy.
Launched in 2014, she was the brainchild of a successful entrepreneur with a dedicated interest in the sea and transportation. Inspiration for her design came from the English pilot cutters of the early 20th century and the result is a neo-classic yacht with an eye-catching style, capable of exhilarating performance and worldwide cruising.
Doña Francisca’s exceptional quality and full-custom design, place her in the same league as iconic superyachts such as Meteor (Royal Huisman) and Marie (Vitters Shipyard), yet with a total displacement that’s 25% lighter.
Doña Francisca’s hull and deck were constructed using a ‘sandwich’ method, which sees carbon fibre skins impregnated with epoxy resin over a rigid PVC foam core - a proven build technique that delivers a light yet incredibly strong structure. The four-year long build process was overseen and controlled by some of the world’s leading experts in this field, and the yacht has been inspected and certified by RINA.
Only the most advanced hardware and components have been used, and done so with a careful consideration to her classic style; all of the deck fittings and blocks were made with a special bronze alloy to a precise hue of green, including the winches and windlass bodies, which house Harken systems. Doña Francisca’s rigging comes courtesy of Swiss experts Carbo-Link, and her sail wardrobe is from Doyle New Zealand, all effortlessly controlled from the cockpit thanks to her advanced hydraulic-electric systems.
Doña Francisca’s interior configuration allows for a four cabin layout, featuring a full-beam master suite with his and hers bathrooms as well as a private study, two VIP suites and one guest double.
The remaining living space is comprised of a large deckhouse, an elegant and comfortable saloon with both lounge and dining areas, and an ample-sized galley, all panelled in mahogany with cherry and chestnut flooring.
The decks are laid with Burmese teak while the deck saloon, doghouse and cockpit are finished in Cedar wood.
