Launched from Benetti in February and delivered in June 2009, the 68.5m (225’) SILVER ANGEL has been designed as a heavy displacement long-range ocean-going motoryoryacht specifically for extensive world cruising. Perfect for charter purposes, she offers the highest levels of comfort for both guests and crew. Inspiried by the ground-breaking Lionheart, the new yacht’s exterior and interior design was the work of Argent Design of London, in conjunction with Stefano Natucci. She has a warm Art Deco feel throughout, with darkened lacquered oak highlighted with silver leaf and mirror detailing. She is furnished in pearl grey and white, with accents of Lalique and exquisite whit onyx featauring throughout. At a staggering 1,400 GT, she probably has the highest volume of any yacht of her length in existence. She offers accommodation for 12 guests in seven cabins, including a full-width owner’s suite and gymnasium with a sauna on the main deck, two large formal saloons, a dining saloon and two further dining areas on deck.
She cruises in excess of 15 knots, and is fitted with a four-fin Zero Speed stablizer system for maximum comfort under way and at anchor. She also boasts the latest and most advanced environmentally friendly systems that meet all the current anti-pollution regulations. State-of-the-art entertainment systems combine with Crestron control, Plasma screens, movies and music on demand, along with the latest communications systerms throughout. Her build is based on an existing 63.5m platform and extended aft by 1m to accommodate larger garages and a longer aft deck. SILVER ANGEL is also available for charter through CNI.

Each level is connected by a floating staircase that ascends from the lower deck to the sundeck. Outside, XANADU’s decks are equally impressive. Her sun deck has shaded areas for comfortable relaxation, a vast pool with raised cushioned sides , and stylish teak sun loungers on an area of deck that can be converted into a stage for live entertainment.
