16th Jan 2014

With an incredible number of yacht sales completed in 2013 including a record ten yachts sold in December alone, Camper & Nicholsons International wrapped up the year on a high note.

In a market that is still recovering from the economic decline, these impressive results demonstrate the exemplary levels of expertise and performance rates that Camper & Nicholsons International offer as we continue to sit at the forefront of the industry.

Our worldwide team of yacht brokers have contributed to an exceptional number of sales in 2013 and we were delighted to end the year with our best December on record.

The successful sales confirmed from our brokers this month included the Sanlorenzo 2000-built 26.75m (87'9) Atsko sold by Jordan Waugh and the 32.2m (105'6) Leopard motor yacht Jade Mary sold by Steen Christensen.  Ralph Raulin closed the 39.6m (130') Trading Places IV within just two months of her joining the sales fleet, while Walter Sea reported the sale of the 46m (150'11) explorer yacht Mazu and Simon Goldsworthy represented the buyer in the sale of the sale of the 45m (147'6) Latitude.

At the end of December alone we reported an impressive five sales to include two contributions from Fernando Nicholson for the 73.50m (241'10) Giant and the 47.51m (155'10) Ellix Too by ISA. Charles Ehrardt announced the sale of the 37.14m (121'10) sailing yacht Marflow and to finish in ultimate style, Alex Lees-Buckley concluded the sale of the 56m (183'8) Perini Navi sailing yacht Rosehearty with Co Central Agent Bruce Brackenhoff of Perini Navi USA whereas Simon Goldsworthy sold the 41.65m (136'7) 1985 Nicolini built Il Cigno.

The first sale in 2014 was marked by Michael Rafferty with the sale of the 35.36m (116') Far Niente, considered one of the finest Hatteras yachts ever built.

2013 was closed in a fantastic manner and we now look forward to an even more prosperous 2014 across all aspects of luxury yacht activities.
