FLIBS 2016 Round Up
The 5-day long Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show has once again come and gone in a blink of an eye. Being the largest show of the yachting calendar, the 57th show certainly lived up to its expectations.
Camper & Nicholsons made sure their guests were looked after from start to finish. Exclusive chauffeured cars transported guests from their accommodation down to the show where a VIP lounge awaited.
This year, the Camper & Nicholsons stand was converted into a Beach Club, furnished with luxury pioneering woven pieces from DEDON. With exquisite woven sofas, chairs and pods, the area offered guests a hedonistic retreat to meet with the team and relax from the hustle and bustle of the show and take a breather from the constant talk of the elections. In fact it was the yachts on display that were the hottest topic for a brief change from the election.
Members from all Camper & Nicholsons offices were available throughout the duration of the show offering expert advice on sale & purchase, charter, new construction, yacht management and marketing.
Camper & Nicholsons shareholder, Fincantieri, revealed their latest 120m concept named Private Bay during the yacht show. Designer Horacio Bozzo described Private Bay as a new vision of a mega yacht, conceived for those wishing to live close to the sea to enable an authentic experience. Also unveiled at the show and on display at the stand, was a model of Moonen's new build, Moonen Martinique #1.
