For Charter: Taransay

17th Mar 2016

Taransay, one of the most beautiful gentleman’s yachts around, is 38.5m of class and heritage. Traditional in her own right, she boasts the most advanced technology making her an exceptionally special charter yacht.

Launched in April 2015, Taransay was inspired by Ocean Glory, a beautiful 1930s motor yacht. Built as a modern replica of this classic, the brand new ‘spirit of tradition’ will be available to charter in the West Mediterranean as of June 2016.

The in-house Rossinavi team, in collaboration with STB Italia, is responsible for her exterior styling. Remaining faithful to the shape of a yacht from the 1930s, Taransay’s dark, shiny hull creates the silhouette of a gentleman’s yacht, whilst her interior is packed full of the comfort, technology and amenities of a contemporary vessel. Stepping on board such a fine piece of design excellence is a pleasure, with vast teak decks that circulate the full circumference of the boat.

The main deck, furnished with a lavish dining table for 12 guests, offers the perfect venue for al fresco dining whilst soaking up the scenery. Moving inside through double glass doors, you enter an intimate and inviting main saloon furnished in satin-lacquered mahogany. Beautifully designed by French designer Alain Tassin, the interior décor is rich and classic with exposed deck beams, white paneling and exquisite fabrics and materials.

The lower deck is dedicated entirely to accommodation. Taking full advantage of the 7.60m beam, is a spacious master suite tastefully decorated with mahogany. A VIP stateroom and a twin cabin are located forward, and two further twin staterooms are located aft. Oozing luxury and sophistication, all cabins benefit from ample storage and ensuite marble bathrooms.

Boasting panoramic views, the upper deck space is outstanding for entertaining and lounging. Sumptuous seating, sunbathing pads and height-adjustable tables make a wonderful setting for al fresco dining and relaxing. Hidden above the deckhouse is perhaps the ultimate lounging spot for catching some rays.

Designed so that the owner could have the opportunity to travel in style, Taransay is capable of reaching top speeds of 14 knots, whilst cruising comfortably at 12 knots.

Camper & Nicholsons is delighted to welcome this modern replica of a classic 1930s yacht to the charter fleet. For more information on the charter of Taransay, please contact your Camper & Nicholsons Charter Manager.
