Launch of Benetti Delfino hull no. 8 Mister Z equipped with fully integrated I-Bridge
We are pleased to announce that Benetti has launched the Delfino hull no. 8 christened Mister Z, boasting the highest technical specification to date and built for a first time Belgian owner with considerable experience from years of extensive chartering.
The owner’s brief to his representative, Steen Christensen from Camper & Nicholsons International, was very clear. It should have all the features of a larger super yacht yet still be of a size where he could comfortably drive it himself. She has been equipped for extended long periods of cruising with family, with the preference of anchorages instead of going from one marina to another. After having studied several other yachts, the Benetti Delfino proved to be the most suitable in her class combined with the pedigree and knowhow of the yard.
Fitted with MTU engines and zero speed stabilisers, Mister Z has a range of 1,500nm, ideal for economical long-range cruising, where the owner and guests will enjoy the impressive fully integrated Multi Touch I-Bridge, which is an absolute first for a yacht of this size complimented with RGB LED lights, FLIR camera and the BEST entertainment system developed by Benetti. Mister Z is a compilation of some of the most advanced systems available in yachts today.
The spacious and contemporary five stateroom interior with accommodation for 12 guests and three crew was designed in-house by Benetti using soft grey white decaped oak and Testa di Moro tinted oak as a contrast supplemented with the Poltrona Frau furniture and exclusive bath rooms in Bronze Amani, blended with Striato Elegante marble matching the neutral color throughout the yacht.
The light interior benefits from the large windows and the customized 210cm headroom creates a spaciousness unusual for a 28-meter yacht. The excellent layout feature a master cabin on the main deck with an excellent view from the forward positioned bed. Below decks there a two double VIP staterooms aft and forward two twin staterooms with Pullman berths, with extra insulation for added privacy.
With a passion and a personal involvement rarely seen, the owner followed every step with his build team right from the onset creating the boat of his dreams with particular focus on safety, navigation equipment and entertainment systems. Nearly all equipment was upgraded and Benetti’s considerable experience proved an asset in accomplishing his wishes. To further ensure optimal quality, the build was thoroughly followed by his representative, surveyor and captain.
The yacht is scheduled for delivery in April and will be on display at the Cannes Yacht Show in September. For more details, please contact Camper and Nicholsons International.
