Round Up of Monaco Yacht Show 2015
The Monaco Yacht Show left in its wake an upbeat atmosphere of confidence in the industry.
Being the world’s largest show with 121 exhibiting superyachts and yachts estimated to be worth €3 billion, the show was a prime focus for industry players and clients coming from all over the world. Camper & Nicholsons generated great amounts of interest and entertained many clients throughout the week. It was also an opportunity to speak to clients and press about Camper & Nicholsons plans for the future, and to Executive Chairman Gualtiero Giori and President Paolo Casani on their thoughts on the show, the industry and their plans for Camper & Nicholsons.
Out of the hundreds of super and mega yachts on display, ranging up to 85.1m, Camper & Nicholsons had a fine selection of six yachts in the show and several more anchored in the area. Three stunning motoryachts were included in the show, and out of the 17 sailing yachts being showcased, three were from the Camper & Nicholsons fleet.
This year, the Camper & Nicholsons traditionally opulent stand received an exciting make over, consisting of a unique six-metre video wall. Of course, our presence would not have been complete without our privately chauffeured Bentleys and luxury tenders from Wajer & Wajer available to whisk clients to, from and around the show in a moment’s notice.
With over 500 exhibitors and an estimated attendance of over 30,000 people, Monaco Yacht Show certainly lived up to expectations as the most anticipated and prestigious boat show of the year and the signs are positive for the performance of the industry - only time will tell.
