Sailing Yacht Selene Sold
Alex Lees-Buckley reports the successful sale of the double award-winning, 56m (183’8) Perini Navi sailing yacht, Selene. This will be the third large sailing yacht acquired by the in-house multi-repeat client from Camper & Nicholsons.
Built in 2007, Selene was winner of both ‘Boat International’ and ‘Showboats’ 2008 “Best Interior Design” awards. Her striking exterior and elegant interior design, both by Perini Navi, offer large spaces finished to an exceptionally high standard, which have been superbly maintained since new. The art deco inspired interior can accommodate up to 12 guests in five impressive cabins, including a full-beam master suite and room for up to nine crew members, perfect for relaxing cruising vacations with family and friends. The opulent lounge area offers sumptuous leather seating for all guests to enjoy downtime together whilst the formal dining room provides an elegant setting for all occasions.
The first sailing yacht to include two swim platforms, she benefits from ease of access to her oversize swim platform via the aft deck stairs, complemented by the side access for tenders and jet skis, giving safety and clear water for everyone. Her fantastic deck areas offer everything needed to indulge in total luxury, including custom Jacuzzi and covered seating area on the top deck, ideal for enjoying the spectacular views along the way.
Her new owners, who built their present and ground breaking, multi-award winning 53m Perini Navi ‘Parsifal III’ with Alex Lees-Buckley, have been with Camper & Nicholsons since 1993 and have decided to continue with the Charter Marketing Department in Monaco. Under her new ownership, Selene will be renamed ‘Parsifal IV’, and will also benefit from an interior refit by designer Remi Tessier.
