The 26th MYBA Charter Show review
Marina Molo Vecchio in Genoa played host to the annual MYBA Charter Show from 28th April to 2nd May, where a fine selection of charter yachts were on display for charter brokers to preview before the summer season.
This year's MYBA Charter Show was a chance for charter brokers to get together for the biggest pre-season charter show to view up 50+ yachts of all builds and sizes prior to the busy charter season ahead in the Mediterranean. Among the splendid choices were three yachts from C&NI's charter fleet, including the 63.4m (208') Polar Star, the 40.5m (132'1) Nameless and the 26m (85'3) Sultana. All three stunning motoryachts left the show with a worthy recognition of their uniqueness, be it for the culinary skills demonstrated at the renowned Chef's competition. Polar Star took 2nd place in the 50m+ category and Sultana was awarded a prize for the best welcome and overall impression of crew efforts. Meanwhile, the 40.5m (132'1) Nameless was the talk of the docks for her outstanding décor.
In between the serious viewings, there were also a string of parties including the infamous Unofficial Official Crew Bash hosted by C&NI with their Crew Placement and Charter Marketing Divisions in association with Camper & Nicholsons Marinas. To top it off, all three C&NI yachts hosted an unforgettable 'Moveable Feast' event starting with an Ocean Lovers cocktail on board Sultana, before moving on to 'La Grande Belezza' buffet onboard Nameless and culminating in the party to end all parties, with an 80s-theme complete with wigs, t-shirts and neon accessories evoking the good old days aboard Polar Star.
Overall, the duration of the show provided the ideal platform for charter brokers and managers to get together and experience some of the top yachts on offer this forthcoming season.
