The Monaco Yacht Show 2016 Round Up
As the sun set on the 26th edition of the Monaco Yacht Show, the Camper & Nicholsons team were invigorated by our many client meetings, tours of incredible yachts on offer and the many ongoing client discussions as the Autumn sales season continues. In summary, this year’s MYS left in its wake an upbeat atmosphere of industry confidence and client interest.
Camper & Nicholsons had an exciting lineup of yachts in the show and at anchor and the week was abuzz with events on board spectacular yachts such as Baglietto's 42m Natori, the exciting new 59m delivery of Maybe from Metalships, the 47m Sunseeker flagship Blush and the spectacular 67.5m Icon. The 54m Baglietto, sister ship to Camper & Nicholsons 55m Baglietto scheduled for delivery in 2018, was a show stopper and added to the busy schedule of yacht tours.
We would like to thank our partners for this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, including VanDutch and their three luxurious tenders who whisked our clients around the area alongside our thee wonderfully chauffeured Mercedes S-Class courtesy cars, Air Partner who supported the most talked about party of the yacht show on board Icon, as well as Limassol Marinas and Riviera Wines who headline sponsored our inaugural Captain’s Party on the rooftop terrace of the Yacht Club de Monaco.
With an estimated attendance of over 30,000 people, this year's Monaco Yacht Show certainly lived up to expectations and Camper & Nicholsons presence was widely regarded as best-in-class – excellent signs for positive months ahead for the most prestigious name in yachting.
