The Palm Beach International Boat Show Roundup

26th Mar 2014

The Palm Beach International Boat Show concluded on 23 March after four days of events, meetings and discussions in the beautiful surroundings of Palm Beach.

Among the top five US yachting events with over $1 billion worth of yachts and accessories on display, the relaxed Palm Beach International Boat Show kicked off with an array of fantastic yachts to include the six for sale by Camper & Nicholsons International. Overall, there was an improved vibe from previous years where there was an estimated 15% increase in attendance from 2013 and significant enquiries for both sales and charter.

We hosted two successful evening events to include the exclusive Bubbles Club event held on board 52.12m (171') Gravitas in partnership with our impressive list of sponsors to include the French champagne house, Piper-Heidsieck, Casillero del Diablo for wine, the private jet lifestyle magazine, Elite Traveler and many others. Over 120 qualified guests were truly pampered by the crew on board Gravitas for the Bubbles Club evening with the abundance of fine wines, champagne, rum and delectable hors d'oeuvres single-handedly prepared by Gravitas Chef Jean-Paul Barcena.

Sales Broker Jeff Partin who attended the show spoke highly of this years event: "I had good and credible traffic on board 25.84m (83'11) Eleven Eleven, which also hosted a seperate event on the Friday in partnership with My Yachts Group. I am hopeful that an offer will be forthcoming as a result of the great number of enquiries received. Our Camper & Nicholsons International parties received lots of positive feedback and the opportunity to meet new prospects was rife."
