William Tai sold
Camper & Nicholsons' Fernando Nicholson secures the purchase of the 40.7m (133'5) sailing yacht William Tai.
Acting on behalf of the Buyer, C&NI broker Fernando Nicholson successfully secured the purchase of this beautiful sailing ketch from Royal Huisman. William Tai is a magnificent 40.68m sailing yacht built by the prestigious Royal Huisman shipyard. Conceived and enjoyed as a world cruiser, no expense or detail was spared in her construction.
Built in 1997, she underwent extensive exterior and interior re-fits in 2009 and 2011 in her original shipyard of Royal Huisman to ensure their own meticulous standards were maintained. Owned previously by an experienced yachtsman, this sailing yacht has been beautifully kept and upgraded. As a finalist at the 2010 World Superyacht Awards, she offers quality and grace as well as exceptional performance. Built with aluminium hull and superstructure, William Tai has a cruising speed of 11 knots and a maximum speed of 12.5 knots.
C&NI would like to congratulate all involved in the sale.
