Corsica

The cruising grounds of Corsica are a perfect blend of French and Italian charm. Cruise the breathtakingly beautiful west coastline of Corsica and anchor in the deep bays alongside the charming fishing villages that line the route. The mountainous and unspoilt landscape is surprisingly rugged, with granite spears dropping dramatically into the sea.

On the southwest coast, the Gulf of Valinco boasts some of Corsica's prettiest beaches. Portigliolo is a huge arc of pure white sand, while Campomoro is more old-fashioned and boasts turquoise seas. A trio of stunning beaches lie further south; Palombaggia, Santa Giulia and Rondinara all form perfect crescent shaped stretches of sand. With deep bays alongside charming fishing villages, the west coast offers many and idyllic anchorage.

  • Power a pedalo off the pine-shaded Corsican beach of Palonbaggia
  • Swim with dolphins in the Golfe of Girolata nature reserve, Corsica
  • Swim and snorkel around the sea caves in Corsica’s Bay of Elba
  • Anchor off Plage d’Erbaju, Bonifacio, and swim through the clear waters
  • Soak up the wild coastline of Cap Corse and breathe in the scent of lavender, myrtle, juniper and sage
  • Indulge in local goat’s cheese, dried figs and honey with your morning coffee
  • Get your water sports’ fix off the remote and beautiful Maddalena islands
