Philippines Yacht Charter

Luxury Yacht Charter Destination

Philippines is the world’s second largest archipelago, stretching over 7,000 lush tropical island where rich waters boast world-class diving, snorkelling and thrilling shark swimming - a perfect destination for a luxury superyacht holiday.

The individual islands vary greatly in terms of development and tourism offerings, but the mix of chic urban areas, as well as rustic fishing villages, is certain to astound.

These delightful coral-fringed islands occupy a beautiful area of the balmy South Pacific, and each destination within the Philippines offers an incredible and completely unique experience.

Intrepid travellers to this area will be amazed by the vivid tapestry, as well as the gregarious and hospitable nature of the Filipino people themselves, making this one of the world’s most incredible destinations.

The capital of Manila is a high-speed, frenetic place, where you can eat, drink and shop 24 hours a day, with a rich cultural mix of the native Filipino, Spanish, Chinese and American. In its heyday, Manila Bay was a sight to behold, with dreamy sunsets and a sweeping panorama across the South China Sea.

In the north-east of Luzon, are the provinces of Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Aurora, Isabela and Cagayan. It is one of the archipelago’s least explored regions, with miles of beautiful coastline and enormous tracts of tropical rainforest.

Another wonderful part of the Philippines for exploring by yacht are the thousands of islands that make up the Visayas. Everywhere you turn, there seems to be another patch of tropical sand or coral reef awaiting your attention. There are nine major island groups – Cebu, Bohol, Siquijor, Negros, Guimaras, Panay, Romblon, Samar, and Leyte – but it is the hundreds in between that make this part of the archipelago so irresistible. Of the smaller islands, some are famous for their beach life, in particularly Boracay, as well as their fiestas and their folklore.

Northern Palawan is a wild, mountainous land that crumbles into the mesmerising islands of the Calamian chain. The underground river is the sight most visitors want to see. It meanders past a bewildering array of stalactites, stalagmites, caverns, chambers and pools, with the formations made even eerier on your boat ride by the shadows cast by the boatman’s torch. From here, Port Barton makes for a soothing stopover on the journey north to El Nido, with plenty of enticing snorkelling spots in the bay. El Nido itself is a scenic resort town that remains relatively low-key, a gateway to the clear waters and jungle-smothered limestone islands of the Bacuit archipelago.

The perfect end to a sublime superyacht holiday is a trip to the islands around Coron Town, laced with crystal-clear lagoons, isolated beaches and dive sites, enhanced with World War II shipwrecks.

Philippines truly is a once-in-a-lifetime superyacht destination with something for even the most discerning of luxury travellers.
